Ed Furlong

President & CEO
Ed Furlong serves as Glytec’s President & CEO. His experience in operations and financial management spans more than 30 years. Prior to joining Glytec, Ed served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Kyruus, a leader in provider search and scheduling solutions for hospitals and health systems, where he was instrumental in shaping the business model, building the organization and increasing revenues elevenfold. Ed previously served in a similar capacity at Exa Corporation, maker of engineering simulation and visualization software, where he directed the company’s IPO, raised private equity and mezzanine debt financing, and achieved consistent growth and profitability. Earlier in his career, he served as a senior executive in the investment services industry for both Fidelity Strategic Investments and UAM Investment Services, where he spearheaded a wide range of start-ups and turnarounds, and participated on several corporate boards. Ed holds a bachelor of science in economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a master of business administration from Harvard Business School.

Robby Booth serves as Glytec’s Chief Strategy and Research Officer, facilitating the company’s innovation programs, patent inventions and FDA clearances as well as multiple partnerships with vendors of complementary technologies. He has 20 years of experience in developing and commercializing disruptive solutions. Robby is one of Glytec’s founders and has been instrumental in advancing the company’s solutions for diabetes therapy management, including new models, algorithms and software-as-a-medical-device products for personalized digital therapeutics. He is an inventor of nearly one hundred pending and granted U.S. and international patents and co-author of 30+ scientific abstracts. Robby holds a bachelor of science in business studies and international management from Southern New Hampshire University, and a Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society. He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) , Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), and Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

John Downey

Chief Commercial Officer
John Downey serves as Glytec’s Chief Commercial Officer. His career of more than 25 years has centered around sales and account management for healthcare technology solutions. Prior to joining Glytec, John was Chief Revenue Officer for Censinet, driving growth for the startup’s third-party vendor risk management platform. He previously held the position of Senior VP Sales and Account Management for Kyruus, leading the charge to accelerate market adoption of the company’s patient access and provider data management products. Earlier in his career, John spent 15 years at McKesson Health Solutions, where in his last role as Area Vice President of Sales for Decision Management, he contributed to a 30-fold increase in revenue -- from $10M to more than $300M. John holds a bachelor of arts in communications from Marist College and a master of arts in English from State University of New York, The College of New Paltz.

Jordan Messler, MD, SFHM, FACP

Chief Medical Officer
Jordan Messler, MD, SFHM, FACP is the Chief Medical Officer with Glytec. He trained in internal medicine at Emory University in Atlanta, and subsequently served as an academic hospitalist at Emory University for several years after residency. He is the former medical director for the Morton Plant Hospitalist group in Clearwater, Florida (serving BayCare Health), where he continues to work as a hospitalist. He is the current physician editor for the Society of Hospital Medicine’s (SHM) blog, The Hospital Leader. In addition, he previously chaired SHM’s Quality and Patient Safety Committee and has been active in several of their national mentoring programs, including Project BOOST and Glycemic Control. He has talked at national conferences on a variety of topics such as teamwork in the hospital, quality and patient safety, the history of hospitals and mentoring quality improvement projects.

Senior Vice President of Delivery
Janet Michel serves as Glytec's Senior Vice President of Delivery. She has focused her career on the intersection of healthcare operations and technology solutions. Prior to joining Glytec, Janet served as Strategic Account Executive at Kyruus, a leader in provider search and scheduling solution for hospitals and health systems, where she partnered externally with health systems nationwide to align strategic objectives and internally to define and scale the account management team. Earlier in her career, Janet focused on hospital administration at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where she was instrumental in overseeing Neurology practice clinical operations, quality improvement, developing a project management team, and leading various strategic initiatives. Janet holds a bachelor of science in psychology and sociology from Bucknell University and a master of business administration from Boston College.

Heather DelCarpini serves as Glytec’s Vice President of Marketing. She has a demonstrated history of leading marketing teams with a focus on building integrated content, digital marketing, and lead generation programs. She previously held the position of Senior Director of Marketing at SeraCare Life Sciences (acquired by LGC), where she designed and built a content and digital marketing strategy, built an ecommerce website, and lead a team organized around the vision of strategic alignment, continuous improvement, and growth. Earlier in her career, Heather built the marketing department at Prelert, a big data analytics start up acquired by Elastic. Heather holds a bachelor of arts in English from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Vice President of Data and Integration
So Ling Chiu serves as Glytec's Vice President of Data and Integration. She has more than 28 years in Healthcare Technology with experiences centered around software engineering/architecture and software integration and deployment. Prior to joining Glytec, So Ling was the Director of Delivery at TetraScience, a solution provider to integrate scientific data for biotech and pharmaceutical companies. So Ling began her career as a Principal Software Engineer at IDX Systems (now AthenaHealth) then moved on to InterSystems where she was the Manager of Client Technical Services and Support for HealthShare where she built a global team to deploy to national and statewide Health Information Exchanges. She then joined Kyruus, a Boston-based startup with provider search and scheduling solutions for healthcare systems. During her tenure, she built the client solution engineering team responsible for deployment, integration, and support. So Ling holds a bachelor of business administration from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.

As the Senior Vice President of Sales Kyle is responsible for leading, growing, and building the Glytec Sales Organization. In this role Kyle is responsible for increasing both the number of organizations that utilize Glytec’s eGMS solutions, as well as Glytec’s revenue growth. Kyle joins Glytec with a 20 plus year track record of success in Healthcare software and services companies, including Cerner, T System, and PeraHealth. Kyle lives in Gunter, TX near Dallas with his wife Christin, son Brooks and daughter Berkeley.

Casey Tracy serves as Glytec’s Senior Vice President of Customer Management. She oversees the longitudinal partnerships with Glytec customers. Casey is responsible for partner growth, account management, customer success and ongoing support of the Glytec customer base – all focused on building trusted relationships and delivering maximum value. Prior to joining Glytec, Casey served in a variety of Sales and Client Services roles at Kyruus, where she built and restructured agreements to ensure organizational alignment. Earlier in her career, Casey focused on broad scale provider engagement and system initiatives at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Casey holds a bachelor of science in Biology from Villanova University.

Vice President of Clinical Partner Solutions
Beata (Betsy) Kubacka, DNP, MSN, RN, AGPCNP-BC, RDN, CDCES, serves as Glytec’s Vice President of Clinical Partner Solutions. Betsy first obtained a Bachelor’s in Dietetics and Nutrition. She later received her nursing degree and two Master of Science degrees in Nursing Education and Gerontological / Adult Nurse Practitioner. She most recently completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in May 2023, focusing on Leadership and Innovation. In addition to her role with Glytec, Betsy continues to practice clinically as an Endocrine nurse practitioner with Hartford HealthCare and is co-leading an inpatient clinical care redesign program focusing on glucose management across the health system. Before joining Glytec, Betsy served as Hartford HealthCare’s Endocrine Council Co-Chair, leading the implementation of Glucommander software as a clinical project lead for the health system. She is known for her expertise in hyperglycemic emergencies and inpatient glycemic management and has been published in various peer-reviewed journals, including Nursing Critical Care. Betsy brings a wealth of knowledge in healthcare, with 30 years of combined inpatient, outpatient, and healthcare technology experience.
