Glytec is the insulin management software company for healthcare providers focused on improving the quality and cost of care. Its FDA-cleared titration software and proprietary algorithms power the only solution capable of delivering personalized diabetes treatment recommendations across the continuum of care, from hospital to home. With ongoing support from its team of doctors, nurses and technologists headquartered outside of Boston, Glytec improves outcomes and controls costs for the large population of patients requiring insulin treatment – including those with and without a diagnosis of diabetes.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Work with the Product Management team to define requirements, roadmap, and functionality of the various Glytec products
  • Ensure technical product documentation is completed appropriately and consistently
  • Coordinate and assist in documentation of requirements for 510K submissions
  • Groom product backlog, facilitate retrospectives, help refine user stories
  • In the role of Product Owner, facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution between teams
  • Help team through various technologies, particularly Jira, to increase velocity and improve predictability
  • Recommend opportunities to improve the responsiveness, accuracy and effectiveness of the development teams. Present to senior Engineering and Product Management and help implement agreed upon changes



  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred


  • Software product management
  • Experience working in medical device and/or clinical healthcare SaaS a plus


  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • 3+ years of Agile experience (Scrum preferred)
  • Experience using requirements management software (e.g. Aha!, Jama, etc.)
  • Experience using Jira
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, and able to defuse conflicts (if they arise)
  • Facilitation experience a plus
  • Adept leader who is persuasive, encouraging, and motivating
  • Ability to collaborate in a team or work independently
  • Work and respond promptly to demanding timelines with shifting priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Technology savvy with an ability to quickly learn, understand, and apply new technologies
  • Work well in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Working Conditions

  • Work efforts are normally conducted in the office during normal business conditions, but due to the pandemic we are currently working remotely
  • Flexible schedule can be discussed once candidate begins working
  • 40 hour work week; nights and weekends not typical but may occur based on the workload
