Director of Hospital Sales will be responsible for all aspects of revenue generation in their designated territory. This seasoned medical software sales entrepreneur will play a critical role in shaping the company’s sales strategy. While exceptional sales leadership experience is required, the successful candidate will be comfortable serving as a "player-coach" within a high-growth entrepreneurial company, able to identify, develop, lead and close deals. The Director of Hospital Sales will be charged with contributing to the creation and execution of a strategic, highly predictable, and accountable sales function. The Director of Hospital Sales will foster the creation of a sales function that is grounded in a solution /value-based type sales methodology and able to seamlessly interface with the c-suite and clinical leadership within major hospitals, health systems and academic medical centers, payers and partners.

The Director of Hospital Sales will be responsible for the planning and execution of the company sales activity within their designated area(s) of responsibility. The Director of Hospital Sales is expected to be a deal closer, a charismatic, sophisticated, creative and experienced sales leader who will know how to work closely with the Internal team(s} and the customers in order to meet the business objectives. In addition, the Director of Hospital Sales is expected to understand what marketing tools and processes are required In order to maximize sales and to assist the team that prepares those tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the sales process and methodology, and implement automation to drive a repeatable, scalable sales process
  • In conjunction with Sales leadership, develop and implement a strategic plan to build a sales organization that will achieve revenue and profit
  • In conjunction with Sales leadership, establish and manage key metrics for the sales team to align with corporate revenue and profit objectives
  • Act as a cross-functional business leader by helping shape a culture of innovation, collaboration and high integrity
  • Be comfortable in a virtual sales environment
  • Collaborate, mentor and guide assigned territory resources
  • Stay current on competitive landscape
  • Be thoughtful in all internal and external communication

Skills & Qualifications:

Working Conditions:

  • Travel is required.
  • Nights and weekends may be required to achieve the goals of the department and the company.
