Glytec is helping medical professionals save lives and improve health outcomes by supporting them in keeping hospital patients' blood glucose in a safe range. Our FDA-cleared eGlycemic Management System (eGMS) uses the latest technology and clinical research to deliver personalized glycemic management and insulin dosing recommendations.  As we march forward, we are preparing for a phase of rapid growth and are looking for a talented and highly motivated technical Product Manager to drive our Analytics roadmap and priorities.

What You Will Do:

This Product Manager, Analytics role will be responsible for delivering a critical narrative: correlating Glytec’s data with the results and insights our customers value. You will work closely with customers, internal stakeholders and industry thought leaders to define and deliver an analytics roadmap that demonstrates the ROI of Glytec product offerings and empowers its users to make better operational and clinical decisions with data.  In addition, you will work with a motivated product development team to deliver internal metrics, benchmarks and OKR’s / KPI’s that ensure product trajectory is measurable and moving in an intended and predicable direction.

Responsibilities of Glytec’s Product Manager, Analytics:

  • Serving as the Voice of the Customer.  Gathering customer and stakeholder feedback to understand what data / results Glytec products should surface and why.  This could also include focus groups, surveys, thought leadership, etc.
  • Owning product definition, feature prioritization and roadmap. Producing competitive / market analysis, personas, story-maps / customer journeys, product prototyping, etc. 
  • Facilitating iterative product development start to finish. Writing themes / epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.  Performing backlog refinement.  Partnering with your agile team on execution and providing a clear consensus of “the definition of done.”
  • Prototyping and delivering reports, dashboards (data visualizations) and OKR’s / KPI’s that help our customers understand Glytec product value.  This could also include collaborating with marketing, sales and customer success teams around value proposition messaging and fielding / prioritizing customer data optimization requests.
  • Championing agile by working with the agile team (and its adjacent counterparts) to refine processes, become more predictable and deliver quality software. 
  • Driving organizational alignment around data governance and serving as an evangelist for data best practices.

About You

  • You are passionate about data! You probably have a mug that says, “I heart data.”
  • Outstanding skills in data analysis, including familiarity with probability and statistics. Basic SQL experience (or other query languages) is preferred, and knowledge of analytics and warehousing technology is a plus.
  • You ask the big questions. You gather your own data and use it to form opinions, make decisions and streamline processes.  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. A great collaborator who works well with others and drives consensus.
